Faculty and students (both graduate and undergraduate) have put forward a pre-proposal for the establishment of an undergraduate major, minor, and graduate designated emphasis in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies (CRES) at UCSC. It is from this context that the CRES Graduate Student Colloquium has emerged. In it UCSC graduate students have an opportunity to present their work to an audience of students and faculty and receive helpful feedback.
