Associate Professor of History Elaine Sullivan Recognized in The Baltimore Banner for the Discovery of an Ancient Alphabet

Associate Professor of History Elaine Sullivan was recently recognized in The Baltimore Banner article, "Johns Hopkins Archeologist discovers 'Humanity's Earliest-Known' Alphabet" for her discovery of an ancient alphabet during her time as a graduate student. She was also highlighted in a recent UCSC News article, "Uncovering an Ancient Alphabet", for this discovery. 

Elaine Sullivan is an Associate Professor of History at UC Santa Cruz and a renowned Egyptologist. She has affiliations with UC Santa Cruz's Anthroplogy Department, Classical Studies Program, Archeological and Research Center, and Center for the Middle East and North Africa.
