Biography, Education and Training


My name is Andrei Tcacenco and I am currently a PhD student in the history department at UCSC. I was born in the former Soviet Union and my research interests focus on Eastern Europe and the former USSR. I am predominantly interested in housing and daily life in the Soviet Union during the second half of the 20th century. 

I am currently conducting my dissertation research abroad and am living in Moscow.
