The History Department believes in fostering strong relationships between students and faculty, as well as encouraging a supportive undergraduate community. The undergraduate social provides students with an opportunity to develop these important relationships in a relaxed and cordial environment. The connections students make at these socials encourage meaningful one on one meetings with faculty later on in their undergraduate careers.

New students are required to attend at least one social in the year that they formal declare their history major. Continuing students are encouraged to attend as many socials as they wish, and often!

Light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
