Transfer Course Approval Form


Students may apply up to three history courses taken from another college or university. Courses must appear on your UCSC Transfer Credit Summary before they will be approved for use towards your major or minor requirements. Minors may only apply three outside courses including transfer courses, EAP and UCDC courses and course substitutions from other UCSC departments.

 

Applying Transfer Courses

Complete the Department of History Transfer Course Approval form and submit it to the History Department office, Humanities 201, for review and approval. Attach the description for each course as it appears in the host university's General Catalog. Consult the Transfer Credit tab in your MyUCSC Student Portal to ensure that the transfer courses have been posted to your academic record. Please note that you may be asked to provide a course syllabus if supplemental information is need. You will be notified by your UCSC email address once your Transfer Course Approval form has been reviewed.
