Fall 2009 Drop-in Advising Hours

Tuesdays: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Wednesdays: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Fridays: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

All advising is held in Humanities 1, room 201.

Students who are ill are asked to please email their questions to the undergraduate coordinator in lieu of attending drop-in advising hours.

Advising at UCSC

The primary purpose of undergraduate academic advising is to assist students in clarifying their educational goals and in developing academic plans to achieve them at UCSC.

Drop-in advising hours give students an opportunity to sit down with the history department undergraduate coordinator and formulate a plan of study to achieve their long term educational goals. Students are encouraged to utilze drop-in advising hours for assitance with course selection, major planning, as well as routine degree check-ins.
