Professor Catlos Elected President of AARHMS

The American Academy of Research Historians of Medieval Spain(AARHMS), an affiliate of the American Historical Association, was organized in 1974. It offers a forum for scholars of medieval Iberia to share their ideas, interests, and research, as well as an important collection of online reprints available to the public. Presently the membership includes approximately seventy scholars from North America, the UK and Europe. Having served previously as newsletter editor, Brian Catlos has been elected unanimously to a three-year term as President beginning in January 2008.
